(London, U.K.) We may as well start an obituary section on this site.
Alan Rickman, known for starring in many villain-esque roles, died early this morning in London after his battle with cancer.
His memorable diction earned him success onscreen, his major break being casted as Hans Gruber in Die Hard.
Over the years, his familiarity spanned generations as he portrayed Profesor Severus Snape in the Harry Potter films, and even had starred alongside Johnny Depp as Judge Turpin in the Tim Burton musical Sweeney Todd: The Butcher Of Fleet Street.
Also to be noted, he starred as Hilly Kristal in the film CBGB, a movie based on one of the birthing houses of the 70’s Punk and New Wave music scene.
